Its been a pleasure and a dream come true joining the Apple Tree Home Care Team. I have been working with clients in their own home or place of residence for 18 years now . It all stated when my father was dying of Cancer, and my best friend had just passed away @ age 35 from Brain Cancer. That was it ! I didn't understand why, and I needed to find out. I had to go back to school to study nursing so I could help him. I started out as a Home Health Aide with Hospice,, eventually served as the union rep for caregivers. I graduated as a Clinical Nursing Assistant which made me more marketable and able to be on several Teams-Wound Care, TB, and Head Injury. My interest has grown to help others learn a better way to care for the Elderly and infirm, so I moved into a supervisory position with Apple Tree Home Care as a Team Leader/Scheduling Coordinator. This company has given all of us here, all the tools we need to help those in our community and more. There is no better joy in your heart than seeing the smile of a client, when you walk in the room to care for them. I know my father appreciated his caregivers and because of them, was very comfortable at the end of his life. After battling Cancer for 10 years my father is no longer with us, but will always be in my heart. I am very happy to represent Apple Tree Home Care as their Program Director.
